Completing The Process

I got so excited when a variety of persons came into my life with different talents or spiritual gifts to assist me in ministry. I felt within myself that I could conquer the world for the glory of God not realizing that I was just at the starting line. Set goals were being accomplished within weeks and the joy that I felt within had me smiling inwardly and outwardly. My joy was accompanied with challenges and at times divers attacks by the enemy, but I overcame them. After a while I began to dream BIG and imagine the places I will travel, the conferences I will have, the books that I will write, etc. I didn't see myself as being self made but rather as one favored by God. Things were looking good and my life was improving. Tasha Cobbs song, 'For Your Glory' became my national anthem.... My spiritual man was saying, "God let's do this!" As quick as the people came into my life, one by one they all left. Tasha Cobbs song was still my national anthem and I still felt like "God let's do this!" However without the help I had before, productivity slowed down and set goals were not as quickly accomplished. What was going on? In the beginning I was clueless. I wanted answers, I needed answers and I wanted to know NOW. I struggled mentally because the mind of my flesh was telling me to call this prophet or that prophet or get a word from here or there. I did not yield because I am not a word hunter, I'm a God chaser. I sat still in a room alone for days, no phone calls, no emails, just inactivity; at least that's what I thought. I want you to know that when the Psalmist said blessed is the man who mediates on His word day and night and delights himself in it, He really meant that - Psalms 1. The Spirit of the Lord spoke to my soul and said, "I'm pruning you." The help that I had, He removed so that I can obtain new helpers or new leaves. Right now my branches are bare, but I am excited. My life is presently experiencing a transition from one glory to another. I find myself once again in a cocoon, awaiting my new wings for a higher flight into a new spiritual dimension. I am writing this blog because I see new buds on my branches and the cocoon is presently falling apart because it can no longer hold me. I am still alone yet in His presence. I am most grateful for all the persons who assisted me in getting here, God saw the need for each of you and a set time for you all to be a part of my life. My process is ending and I want you to know that from hereon my life will never be the same. Share my testimony by listening to the song in this link...please take five minutes to listen and thank you, God bless you ALL. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=465oXQegB2k

The Naked Truth

My every day struggle is not sexual sins as a married person. My every day struggle is not writer's block as an author. My every day struggle is not kindness or for me to be friendly. My every day struggle is not overcoming a harden heart towards those who've abused me, used me, defamed my name, and did so many other selfish things unto me. Neither is my every day struggle my inability to have a word to decree unto the faithful followers and members of the church. Here is the naked truth - my every day struggle is to not QUIT. Here is my struggle...not quitting! Do I believe that Elohim is Almighty God and the Creator of the universe? YES! Do I believe that Jesus (Yeshua) is the only begotten Son of God? YES! I believe in the triune God, the death and resurrection of Christ, heaven and hell, angels and demons. I accept the holy scriptures (bible) is the Word of God for the governing of mankind. In the midst of all of this knowledge and faith, I struggle daily with quitting. I encourage each of you whether you are a member, faithful follower, assistant or lay minister in a local assembly to pray for your spiritual leaders. The measure of mental and emotional attacks that each faithful, called by God, leader of any local assembly experience is beyond your imagination. The naked truth is that we are constantly challenged to be strong in our weaknesses, to lead at times not knowing our destiny, to pray when we are clueless and lost for words. There is more....the naked truth about spiritual leaders also include giving of our depravity, loving out of our pain, covering and protecting characters when we are ridiculed and mocked, helping others when we're left destitute, being a friend to many and yet without friends, comforting the brokenhearted and left alone to deal with our hurt, serving many and yet left undone. I know as a spiritual leader that I am not alone with this struggle. I want you to know the naked truth about ministry and it is this..."It is nothing like what it appears to be from the pulpit!" When the sermon has been concluded and the service has ended, most ministers return to emptiness - this is the naked truth. PRAY FOR ALL SPIRITUAL LEADERS WORLDWIDE....it takes more than preparing a sermon to minister unto YOU!

The True Meaning of Christmas

Why get depressed because you were unable to afford a ham and a turkey? Better yet why get depressed because you weren't able to get your children that gift they've always wanted.  You've tried your best to set aside some funds but it just didn't work out as planned.  For some of us it was our inability to purchase that special gift to show our spouses how much we appreciate their loving kindness towards us throughout the year.  While all of the aforementioned are emotions experienced by so many people which will contribute to them feeling either down or depressed, it is not what Christmas is about.

Notwithstanding December, 25th is not a day which we can  prove to be the birth of Jesus, it is the day we have designated to celebrate the fulfillment of Isaiah's prophecy concerning Emmanuel.  Matthew 1:23 states "...and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us."  Isaiah's prophecy disclosed in chapter 7:14 was fulfilled and God came and dwelt among men.

The holy scriptures tells us that wise men from the East came to the house where the babe was and worshiped the babe and offered unto him gifts from their treasures.  This is  the attitude we must have during the Christmas holidays.  We should be attending the house of God where His Spirit dwells and offering ourselves as gifts unto the Lord and also present our free willing offering unto Him.  But we do know that many will take from their financial treasures and give for so many other reasons, save and except for what they claim to be celebrating, the birth of Jesus.  Christmas is not about ham and turkey, presents for friends and loved ones, Christmas bonuses from employers, Christmas trees, feasts and overspending.  Christmas is about possessing the same attitude of the wise men from the East, which is to worship Jesus, to present unto Him gifts from our treasures and to praise God for the birth of our Savior - Luke 2:13, 14.

So please do not  get depressed or emotionally overwhelmed with sadness because of the lack of funds or your inability to be likewise occupied with all of the busy activities going on this Christmas holiday.  The true celebration of Christmas is celebrating the birth of Jesus by sincere worship in Spirit and in truth, giving Elohim God praise and glory and presenting unto God, in His house free will gifts from your treasures.  May you all have a blessed Christmas and may you experience the true meaning of this holiday - God being in the midst of you.

DECISIONS (from Situations a poetry book by Tanya E. Munroe)

Nothing just happen, you didn't just happen
neither did I
Life is what we make it, though many will
deny that this is true
If we choose to partake in what occurs in our lives
or even if we choose to ignore it
Life is what we make it
Either through ignorance or knowledge

We need to make the best decisions for ourselves
For time cannot be redeemed
Many times our choice to ignore is our
choice to waste time
We must maximize the moment and embrace all
things that may come our way
For the negative things will manifest our
strengths or our weaknesses
The positive will encourage us to move on
But whatever may come our way
Whether love or hatred
Whether joy or pain
Whether riches or poverty
Life is all about the decisions that we make

WHY

If you were given the opportunity to explain in five minutes why you are Christian, what would be your answer?  If you are unable to do so in five minutes then you're probably following  a faith blindly. It would surprise you the many vague and religious responses that would be given.

If you were asked why you attend your local assembly's services weekly, what would be your answer? Some would say that they grew up attending worship services and prayer meetings. Others would say that they have nothing else to do and wanted to get out of their homes.  Some would say that they like the ambiance and the entertainment.  Shockingly many  are there looking for their spouses, people who they assume are up for grabs.  There would be various reasons and many would exclude that it is a house of prayer and a place of true worship.

Why are so many people's heart so hard and they refuse to forgive?  Why is there so little sincere friends, whole families, demonstration of love and kindness.  Selfishness in this world that we live in is overwhelming.  People hardly smile, seldom greet each other and no longer know who are their neighbors.  So many are existing in their own world, lonely, hurting, confused and lost.

Why do people do the things that they do?  Why do people do so many  wrong things  knowing that such conduct is offensive to their fellow man and also unto Elohim God?  Why do spouses have extra marital affairs? Why do fathers abandon their children and mothers raise mamma's boys?  Why do Pastors and other spiritual leaders water down the word of God to please and soothe their parishioners?  Why do faithful followers and members of a local assembly disrespect their spiritual leaders and view themselves as being equal in authority?  Why do so many people view spiritual leaders as thieves and refuse to tithe notwithstanding the bible instructs for ten percent to be freely given.

Why do you treat God the way that you do?  Why do you attend church, pray and financially contribute and thereafter feel that God is obligated to bless you?  When are we as a people regardless of our spiritual status going to allow Elohim God to be God and realize that He deserves reverence.  Have we become so full of ourselves that we can now be a law for ourselves.  We have our own opinions, our own expectations, our own view of spirituality, but please note in spite of this, God has His standard.  Regardless of our reasons why you and I do the things we do, we will be equally judged according to the holy scriptures and what is required of us by Almighty God.  Ask yourself every now and then....WHY

Covetousness Is On The Prowl

December is usually a month when toys and electronic gadgets, new vehicles and homes and extension on loans are advertised.  With so many things being flashed across our eyes while watching television and deposited into our hearing while listening to the radio, it is a GREAT challenge for us all to maintain our focus.

Truly the negative spirit and passion of covetousness is active beyond measure and our acknowledgement.  Because many will be asked "What do you want for Christmas?" covetousness will override rational thinking.  Many will covet this thing, that thing, what their neighbours have, what their co-workers got last month or what one of their relatives recently obtained.  It is not a need and for most it is not so much a sincere desire but rather the negative passion and evil spirit of covetousness; and such passion is only for you to keep up with whats going on.

This upcoming season will be a snare for many especially those who are lazy and possess a covetous spirit.  Proverbs 21:25, 26 - The desire of the lazy man kills him, for his hands refuse to labor.  He covets greedily all day long, but the righteous gives and does not spare. Many people want to obtain so much which they refuse to labor for and such are they of a covetous spirit and heart.  How much greater will the hearts of many including the Christians be ensnared by this passion during the Christmas holidays.  What you see is what you want and what you hear is what you also desire.  Luke 12:15 - And He (Jesus) said to them, "Take heed and beware of covetousness, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of the things he possesses."

May you this Christmas season please remember that it is about the birth of our Saviour and not the gifts, the food or any other thing that you have on your agenda.  It is about mending broken relationships as God did with mankind by sending His only begotten Son for the redemption of our souls.  Restore whatever broken marriage, friendship, relationship with your neighbour, spiritual leader, co-worker or whomsoever there has been broken fellowship and discord.  Let not this evil passion of covetousness contribute to a broken marriage, broken friendship or any broken relationship in your life.  Your life does not consist of the abundance of the things you possess or can obtain but rather the abundance of love you are able to bestow upon those persons whom you encounter daily.  Guard your heart and the gates to your soul (eyes and ears) from things that will provoke you to inhabit the evil passion and spirit of covetousness. Let your conduct be without covetousness; be content with such things as you have. For He Himself has said, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" Hebrews 13:5.

Probably I Should

Probably I should take some time out and examine my life to see where I've veered off from my plans.  This will enable me to understand my areas of compromise and also the areas in which I was so easily distracted. After so doing I will be able to become more focused, put up a better fight and accomplish my set goals in life.

Probably I should be more receptive to constructive criticism because too often I deceive myself about who I am.  If there is one thing that I truly am ignorant of, it  is the message that  I am sending to others by my lifestyle.  Notwithstanding some will wrongfully discern me and  misunderstand what is being perceived, at least I will have some idea of how my life and conduct look in the eyes of others.

Probably I should cease from wasting my funds on the pleasures of this life, electronics and every new gadget that comes along.  I should consider investing in orphans and widows, investing in the Kingdom of God, investing in the lives of those less fortunate than myself.  I am most certain that if I begin to do this my funds would have been well spent.

Probably it is time for me to acknowledge the years of mercy, Elohim's loving kindness towards me, answered prayers, shelter and soundness of mind and all of the other things I took for granted.  I have had the person who should have been the most significant in my life, struggling for first priority because of all the other things and probabilities which I have been pursuing.  Probably I should just forget all about me and focus on my Heavenly Father, the one true and living  God who, if I never execute any other probability once I've done this, my life would be most fulfilled and my spiritual purpose accomplished.

Who Told You?

It is so amazing how people expect so many different things to occur in their lives after accepting the Lordship of Jesus Christ.  Too often the new life in Christ has been misrepresented.  Yes we as ministers of the gospel do have a strong desire to see souls come into the Kingdom of God.  The question is, "At what cost?"

Truly this erred expectancy is basically as the result of the misrepresentation of the good news.  Who told you that you had the right to water down scriptural truths to increase your church membership?  Do you not know that such misrepresentation of the word of God has contributed to so many having the wrong expectancy of God in their lives?

Read and understand - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. - 2 Timothy 4:2.  It is the equal responsibility of the Christian follower and Christian Minister to obey this command.  Faith for many came as the result of  them hearing something misunderstood by a fellow Christian or Spiritual Leader.  On the contrary there are those who  intentionally misrepresent the holy scriptures to their audience for the purpose of having control.  This erroneous act has caused so many to view God outside of His holy character.  Elohim is now viewed and esteemed as Mr. Fix It or Mr. Do It rather than Almighty God.

Who told you? Who is that wolf in sheep clothing who persuaded you that ALL will be well once committing your life to Christ?  Who told you that all of  your debts will be paid and God will give you a comfortable, prosperous life if you cease living as husband and wife outside of a marriage covenant?  Who told you not to worry about it, God understands your struggles?  Who told you to continue in the unequally yoked relationship because of the child that was born and that eventually the individual will convert to your faith? Who told you that this did not matter or that did not matter when you've read otherwise in the holy scriptures?  I encourage you to release yourself from the WHO and replace it with WHAT and when you do this, this will be your foundation for pleasing your Heavenly Father - Trust in the Lord with all thine heart;  and lean not unto thine own understanding.  In ALL of thine ways acknowledge Him, and he shall direct thy paths - Proverbs 3:5, 6.

Thanksgiving

"In all things give thanks," we have often times heard these words.  They are truly very good words of encouragement but we know as humans it is not easily executed.  In a few days many people worldwide will be celebrating Thanksgiving.  The amazing thing about their observance and celebration of this holiday is that many are not giving thanks.  Most persons are having family reunions, traveling and spending lots and lots of money.  I highly doubt that this was the purpose of the enactment of Thanksgiving holiday.

First of all I want to elaborate a little on holiday.  Its origin is holy day which indicates to me that Thanksgiving was not enacted to be a shopping spree, catch all the sales and discounts day.  It was a day set aside for giving of thanks unto Elohim God for His mercies, His acts of kindness and love towards mankind. It is Thanksgiving holy day and not Thanksgiving shopping spree, traveling and having fun day.  This holy day, now observed as a secular holiday has lost its spiritual meaning worldwide.

Many look forward to this day to shop rather than reflecting on  the loving kindness of a holy and  righteous God who looked beyond our faults and executed mercies towards mankind.  Time is spent focusing on the stuffed turkey and glazed ham with canned yams rather than on the Bread of  Life who died that we might have life through and in Him.  Focus is now drawn towards which store has the best sale rather than the blessings bestowed by God throughout the year.

What has happened to Thanksgiving Holy Day?  It is has been seized and desecrated by the world to mean nothing more than a time to catch good sales, travel, have fun and fellowship with family and friends. Fellowship is good but reflecting and honouring Elohim God during such time is much better.  On this upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, many will we  be watching their new 52 inch flat screen t.v., others will be using their new Martha Stewart's dishware, plenty will be having the large spread of food from the sales they caught and while so doing the main purpose as to why Thanksgiving was originally enacted would be forgotten.

Truly every day that we live we ought to give Almighty God thanks and Thanksgiving Holy Day now observed as Thanksgiving holiday has become secular and not centered around the Creator of the universe. How did we get so caught up in the rush of this world's system? How easily we are distracted with the temptations  and pleasures of this world? It is so  sad  to see and  hear how Believers/Christians are so easily drawn away from the presence of their Saviour and Lord.  How will you spend Thanksgiving this year? Would you spend it as a Holy Day or as a holiday?  In all things let us give thanks.

Sincere Love

If you feel GUILTY about the love or affection you have for a particular person, this is an indication that your affection is contaminated and not the kind of feelings you should be possessing for that individual.  When you love someone you need not feel guilty about  your affection or provide excuses for having such feelings. If you have to often times explain why you are with the individual, then probably you’re not suppose to be there.  Your many excuses will NEVER justify the contaminated feelings you possess and call LOVE, for truly such feelings is not love; for love is of God and never is accompanied by guilt.  Stop trying to explain why and get your heart, mind and life in order. Excuses will never make it right.  It is only your way of deceiving yourself into believing that the wrong that you’re doing is right. FIX IT!

God is not pleased with us misrepresenting love. He is love and God wants you and I to love people in accordance to His holy word.  The extra marital affairs, the lust, the pornographic thoughts, the acts of fornication, the overwhelming passion you have for a particular person are not in accordance with God’s word.  We must all guard our hearts and put up barriers to ensure that nothing enters therein to contaminate the purity of LOVE that God wants us to experience  and possess for others.  It is each of our responsibility to ensure that our hearts are filled with sincere love.

Just Give Thanks

Instead of whining about why it didn't happen, when you wanted it to happen, where  you wanted it to happen and  with whom it should have happen be grateful that God did not allow it to happen because it was not His perfect will for your life,  at the place where you thought was favorable for you  because it was only a distraction and a trap by the devil, which had  the person whom you didn't know truly did not have your best interest at heart.  Thank God for saying NO when you didn't know any better.

Every open door is not an invitation by God for you to have more or experience better, and when the wrong door opens for us as God's children, He closes it.  We may be excited about the opportunity but our God loves us so much He looks beyond our feelings and acknowledges the booby trap Satan has awaiting our entrance.  The same applies to relationship whether friendship, co-workers, neighbors, or a family member,  if the person is a backstabber, trouble maker and extremely deceitful, there is just something about you and the individual that won't connect.  Is it because the person does not take to your spirit?  I doubt this.  I verily believe it is because of the level of harm, defamation of character, slander of name and broken relationships that this person will provoke, God will not allow you to  connect with the person.

I will end my blog with the same words which I used to commence it.......   Instead of whining about why it didn't happen, when you wanted it to happen, where  you wanted it to happen and  with whom it should have happen be grateful that God did not allow it to happen because it was not His perfect will for your life at the place where you thought was favorable for you  because it was only a distraction and a trap by the devil which had  the person whom you didn't know truly did not have your best interest at heart.  Thank God for saying NO when you didn't know any better.

Trusting God

So often we read the Word of God and receive His precious promises with joy. We undoubtedly believe everything to be readily available for us to experience until we have to trust God for the manifestation.

How often have you declared, "By His stripes I am healed" and yet when you have an ailment your first reaction is to get an aspirin or attend a physician. Many of us as Christians or followers of Christ will jump and clap and with exceeding joy say, "God is my Provider!" Although these statements are true, we all struggle with trusting God to manifest the validity of His Word.

Trusting God is not about giving Him one month to solve a life issue and thereafter taking the matter into your own hands. Trusting God is about trusting God even when you run out of explanations, when you have exhausted all of your alternatives and you allow Him to be God, and God alone. Elohim being God alone means that it does not matter what the physician said, it does not matter the high increase in the divorce rate, it does not matter the increase in STD (sexually transmitted diseases), it does not matter the tremendous increase in unemployment. When you get to the place in your spiritual walk whereby you are trusting God, He will be God and God alone to deliver you from whatever life challenges you are experiencing.

I put it to you this month to dare yourself to put whatever challenge, whatever spiritual dream, whatever relationship which need to be restored whether marriage, mother and daughter, father and son, employer and employee, friendship or spiritual leader and follower, give it over to God. Let us learn to trust God in relation to the attributes given unto us in the Word of God, concerning who He is. Can you from this point onward discipline yourself to trust the God whom you have discovered in the sacred holy scriptures?

The Last Mile

We are soon to approach the last quarter of the year and some of us are yet to accomplish what we've set out to do.  There are various reasons for such failure which requires of us an evaluation of where we went wrong, where we've compromised and what we've failed to execute.

Too often we have plans for ourselves, our children, our ministries, our families etc which were never in God's divine will for us.  We are soon to embrace the last three months of 2013 not knowing whether or not we will see the final day.  This is the last mile of the year and the question to you today is "How are you going to close this year if life is extended to you?"  Some of you will continue to compromise, others will remain complacent with their failures, a few will remain in the valley of the decision and others will probably be depressed because once again their plans have failed.

I encourage you  to seek the face of God for directions on how He wants you to run this last mile of 2013. You don't need to increase your speed  i.e. become extremely busy, you need not slow down either, i.e. become depressed, mentally or emotionally overwhelmed, neither should you come up with a quick plan. Run this last mile fulfilling the will of God for your life.  In those areas where you have failed, compromised, quit, or got lost along the way, give those areas to God.  Let Him guide you, let God empower you and permit God to fill you in those areas where you thought was going to make your life more meaningful, more significant and more fulfilled.  Run this last mile of 2013  which is only three months, with your life being in the hands of the Lover of your soul.  Have a blessed day and be encouraged.

NOW YOU REALIZE

As Christians many of us were excited to quote Deuteronomy 28:13 - And the Lord shall make thee the head and not the tail; and thou shalt be above only, and thou shalt not be beneath; if  thou hearken unto the commandments of the Lord thy God, which I command thee this day, to observe and to do them. This quotation and declaration was made as a motivation to uplift our spirits especially when overwhelmed by various challenges.  We strove for the best vehicles, the best homes, the best education and the finer material things in life.  As Christians we persuaded ourselves that God wanted the BEST for us and we went for it.

I found nothing wrong with the persuasion, however something was wrong with the way the BEST was obtained.  We pursued the best vehicle, home, clothing, job, education, etc. by ignorance. There is an extreme difference between  knowledge and wisdom.  Knowledge is possessing information that you are able to comprehend.   Wisdom is the ability to appropriately use that which you comprehend to accomplish or obtain the best results.

Being the head and not the tail or  the lender and not the borrower was to be accomplished through  wisdom rather than by a foolish pursuit.  God is all knowing, His wisdom is profound, His methods we are unable to comprehend, but His word gives us a guideline as to how we can have the best, live the most abundant, fulfilled life on the earth.  We discovered the scripture, we believed the scripture, we declared the scripture but we operated foolishly. The rich ruleth over the poor, and the borrower is servant to the lender - Proverbs 22:7.  Once we borrow (obtain financial loans) we become servants not leaders.

It is only now that many of us as Christians are realizing the consequences of our wrongful use of the information disclosed in Deuteronomy 28:13.   Being the head and not the tail means that you hold the position of a leader in a particular area of your life.  It does not mean that you must be the spiritual leader of the church, the boss on the job or the owner of the business.  Being the head means you possess the ability to obtain followers, to discipline, teach or instruct, and this can be accomplished while employed, while being a faithful follower of a local assembly, as a youth, etc. This means that your attitude towards receiving instruction must change. You don't get angry at your boss, spiritual leader, or any authoritative person in your life; learn to take instructions.

In reference to being the lender and not the borrower you must wait on the Lord to provide the opportunity for you to acquire the best.  It is now that many believers are coming to the realization of the bondage which accompanies the mortgage for the property, the home, the vehicle, the extravagant wedding, the luxurious cruise, etc.  So many Christians are now praying for God to deliver them from having to pay the car or house mortgage, the property  loan, personal bank loans, the church mortgage,  credit card debts, etc.  What happened, and why are so many Christians in debt, homes repossessed, vehicles repossessed and  have horrible credit?  They borrowed because of their persuasion that they deserved the best and they wanted it NOW. It is now that you are realizing  that you should have never borrowed, it is now you are realizing  that you should have had a better attitude towards the authoritative persons in your life, it is now that  you are realizing what  Deuteronomy 28:13 and Proverbs 22:7 really mean. Now you realize!

IDENTITY CRISIS

Everyone is talking about the increase in crime, the increase in single parented homes, the increase in divorces, abortions and teenage pregnancies, the increase in immorality.  There appears to be much talk about negative issues worldwide.  Few persons whether politicians or clergy offer sound solutions to these problems that we read daily in our news papers, magazines, hear on the radio, watch on the news or discuss at work or with our neighbors.

These problems cannot be solved until we all acknowledge  the origin or root of the matter.  There is a National Identity Crisis worldwide.  The Americans want to be like the Chinese, The Cubans want to be like the Americans, The Africans want to be like the British, The Bahamians want to be like the Americans, this nation wants to live like the other and so forth.

Nations want to imitate the other and experience their level of lifestyle, manufacture their type of products or even  better ones.  Nations are copying each other or competing with each other but none are taking into consideration the consequences of their actions.  When The Bahamas decided to connect with America and enforce some of their lifestyles, The Bahamians likewise experienced their down falls, increase in crime, immorality, etc.  When the Americans wanted to compete in weaponry and science with Russia, China and other nations, they became an indebted nation.  When the Cubans and Haitians wanted to live their lives at a higher or equivalent standard of other Caribbean Nations, they likewise suffered loss by death at sea, imprisonment, increase in  fraud and a high level of deportation.

Many are looking at other Nations and not taking into  consideration the consequences of the decisions and lifestyles of these Nations who attracted them.  Truly America is the land of the free, but my conviction is that America is too free whereby it has little to no moral standards.  Products are assembled and manufactured in Mexico, India, Indonesia etc. yet their crime rate and poverty is extremely high.  Nations are saying , lets make our own products, lets manufacture our own goods, not considering that most places that have factories also have high pollution in the air, and an extreme increase in diseases especially cancer.   Too much infiltration and influence by other Nations has contributed to the many problems we are all experiencing and also witnessing.

There are consequences for following other Nations and sadly these consequences are experienced by the residents and citizens of that Nation.  Every Nation is experiencing an identity crisis whereby they want to live like the other Nation.  This is what happened to  Israel when  they wanted to be like the other Nations, they wanted a king.   They got their king like the other Nations and they likewise suffered like the  other Nations - 1 Samuel 8 (key verse 19).  Be careful of who you elect  to represent you because whether or not you want to acknowledge it,  there is a national consequence for your decision.  Take responsibility for your actions; which was the decision you made on election day and stop complaining about the increase in crime and all of the immorality that surrounds you.  Many are experiencing the financial challenges, sufferings and pressures in life simply because of who they chose to represent them. The consequences of identity crisis occurred for many through  the Leader they chose. Sadly many failed to acknowledge that that particular person whom they elected wanted to be like another Nation and therefore robbed them and likewise you, denied  themselves and also you the opportunity to experience life in accordance to your culture and citizenship. There is indeed a consequence for wanting to be like another nation. There is most definitely a price to be paid for identity crisis. Do you know who your Nation is imitating?  There is a consequence for failing to set your own standard of living and definition of your Nation and likewise yourself.

BLOCKED

I want you to realize the selfishness of so many people, especially those with whom you  have some level of acquaintance. This happens to us all.    When your acquaintances or friends  are doing well, they are excited, elated, and enjoying their lives and have little to no time to entertain or interact with you.  To be honest most of them find new friends because they don't want to share their experiences of joy or increase with you.  Suddenly you who befriend them, gave a listening ear to their problems, provided a shoulder to lean on, etc become to mediocre to share their joy, increase or breakthrough.

When things didn't look good for them, they had all the advice in the world to share with you, Watch out for this...don't let nobody use you.....be careful of what you say....all men are dogs or all men are alike...women are users....etc. etc. Everything negative is gladly and freely shared...not a problem at all. Hey, were friends you're my girl, you're my boy, I got your back. When things change in their lives for the better, you're no longer their girl, their boy, their spa, or whatever they refer to us as. What happened? They needed someone to dump all of their pain, disclose all of their issues and deposit all of their hurt upon and that was YOU.

Things are better now.  They got a job so they have money in their pockets.  Some one is now interested in them and giving them some attention and affection, so they've overcome their hurt.  They finally got a vehicle so you're not their boy or their girlie anymore.  Suddenly you're BLOCKED.  How often does this happen? Everyday we are used by people who don't value our time, our sincerity, our kindness, our counsel.  My advice to you is to stop availing yourself or pursuing the person. They will be down again, get hurt again, need transportation again, need a listening ear again, need a friend again and when they do remember that you've been BLOCKED.  This means that you're not that person to meet the need, fill the void, share the pain, etc.  Forgive them and move on and use this experience as a lesson well learnt; which is for you not to be too quick to try and solve peoples problems because you don't know why they are suffering. Many are ONLY reaping what they've sown.

The Cost

There is a very popular song entitled, "I Give Myself Away" which I verily believe can be interpreted in two ways. The first interpretation is in relation to Christ giving Himself away for the salvation and redemption of mankind - I John 4:14 - 'And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be Saviour of the world.' Jesus accomplished this by dying on Calvary's Cross and thereafter defeating Death. He died that we might have life, and life abundantly and eternally.

Jesus gave Himself away so that we can use His name, for in no other name can a man be saved, for at the name of Jesus every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that He is Lord - Romans 10:9; Romans 14:11. For Jesus' name to be a weapon for you and I to use against the kingdom of darkness, He first had to give Himself away, so that divine power can be attached to His name. He gave Himself away so that we as Kingdom citizens can use the name of Jesus as a weapon against Satan.

The second interpretation is for you and I to give ourselves away so that we can be used for the glory of God, the Father.  We must present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable unto God which is our reasonable service - Romans 12:1, 2.  We give ourselves away which means we deny ourselves of carnal pleasures that this world continuously offers unto us.  We give ourselves away by refusing to divorce our spouses, by forgiving those who emotionally hurt us, those who physically abused us and the many who defamed our characters. We give ourselves away because we love God and it is our inner most desire for Him to use us for His glory.  When you hear or reflect on the song, "I Give Myself Away" remember that you are only reciprocating that which Jesus has previously done for you. Give Him praise and glory!

How Long Has It Been....

How long has it been since that dream entered your soul? What did you do with it? Did you write down a strategic plan as to how you were going to bring that dream into reality? Too often we put ourselves on the shelf. Too often we become preoccupied with so many frivolous things that profits us nothing and robs us of quality time daily. How long has it been since you said to yourself, "this year is my year" and yet the dream was still abandoned? What will it take for you to become passionate about fulfilling that dream that you know beyond the shadow of a doubt will eliminate some of your struggles and the emptiness in your soul? If you were to count the things which you have allowed to replace your dream... would you go beyond the number ten? If you were to count the years which have passed since the dream was downloaded into your soul, how many years would there be? Some of your desires were directly from the throne of God and for that particular desire or dream to become a reality it will require of you to make a sacrifice of some stuff that is occupying your time, attention and derailing your divine purpose. How long has it been since you have put you on hold and occupied your life with everything else and everyone else? When are you going to do you? I encourage each of you to please learn how to place the right value on your life and also on your time. Apostle Mrs. Munroe

My Mind

I can remember the words to the song, "I work up this morning with my mind stayed on Jesus...." When last have you woke up with your mind on Jesus? So many of us wake up with our minds on what we are going to wear to work that day or how many chores we have to execute before 3 p.m. Jesus has not been the first thing on many of our minds for a very long period of time. Our minds have been on our struggles, the emotional pain, the financial challenges, our children, our wayward spouses who are depriving us of marital bliss, family life and spiritual support. Indeed it is a great challenge to wake up each morning with our minds stayed on Jesus. Such challenge is not because of our lack of love for God but because of the preoccupation of the cares of this life. In Matthew 13, The Parable Of The Sower Jesus said that some seed fell among thorns choked the word. He then explained that the thorns represents the cares of this life and the seed is the word of God. What is on your mind, occupying too much space and time? I encourage you to ignore the issues in your life that you most certainly cannot fix. Discipline yourselves to start each day with Jesus on your minds and allow the Holy Spirit to speak a rhema word into your soul at the beginning of each day. Let us indeed wake up every morning with our minds stayed on Jesus. There is no better way to begin your day!

Are You Ready?

I gave my life unto the Lordship of Jesus Christ in 1989 and since then I have witnessed and heard so many world events that have fully persuaded me that Jesus' return to gather His faithful followers is extremely near. This realization has provoked me not to become overly concerned about acquiring this world's fame and wealth but rather to become very occupied with getting my garments clean, oil in my lamp and a readiness to meet my spiritual groom (Christ). Jesus told a parable about ten virgins (spiritual brides) five who were wise and five who were foolish. While so many are becoming occupied with the recession, crime, life of the rich and famous and the government, they are also being distracted and missing the opportunity to prepare for Jesus' return. There are two categories - the wise follower (virgin) and the foolish follower (virgin). Which category is applicable to you? If you are not sure we recommend that you purchase our teaching CD Am I Really Foolish? from our Media Store at www.wordalvieministriesinternational.org. We are here to assist you in working out your soul salvation.

Sabbath Thought

Where is most of your time, affection, attention and finances being spent, in the world or in the Kingdom of God?  Answering this question will enable you to realize how balanced your life is and in which direction it is heading.  You'll be surprised to learn how much you are involved in this world's system and how little you are connected to the Kingdom of God.

Definition By Character

Who are you? This question must be answered by us all. Many persons as an attempt to answer this question will refer to themselves by their profession. Some will say that they are lawyers, doctors, medical assistants, teachers, custodians, etc. This is not who you are, it is your profession. Others will answer the question in accordance to their status, thus referring to themselves as a husband or wife, a married man or an adult. Definition By Character is a book written to assist you in defining yourself by your characteristics and not by title, profession or what people say that you are. For years we have intermingled with persons who were contrary to who we are. Too often we have found ourselves in imbalanced relationships or unequally yoked. This has occurred because we so often failed to examine ourselves and thereafter define ourselves. Learning who we are will enable us to establish healthy business relationships, intimate relationships, friendships, etc. Definition By Character is a tool to assist you in doing just that, defining yourself in accordance to your characteristics. Often times we have been misunderstood and it is because of titles which were assigned either by ourselves or others which were conflicting to who we really are. The inner you must be discovered and defined and Definition By Character will assist you in discovering yourself. This book is a MUST have and one that you must read. The best advertisement of yourself is YOU and so doing is more successful when you are knowledgeable of who you are. This book is spiritual and also educational.  Definition By Character challenges you to answer the question, "Who am I?"

SITUATIONS

TALK (taken from Situations)

Be careful of what you say about a person
In the tongue there is the power of life and death
What you say about a person can either
Bind them or set them free
Be wise and speak words of love and liberty

Look beyond your feelings and what your
Eyes can see
Before you speak, ask yourself
"Are these the words I want to be said about me?"
So many characters have been distorted
And so many hearts broken
Because of the negative words
which were spoken

Let us guard our lips, our words to be critized
Let us not wait 'til it is too late for the
Effect of our words to be realized
Live and let live and learn to love
Let us be obedient to the command given from above
To love people as we would want to be
And speak those words which enables men to be free

Death and life are in the power of the tongue,
and they that love it shall eat the fruir thereof - Proverbs 18:21

Moving Beyond Rejection

Having  worked in the legal field for more than 23 years Apostle Munroe has assisted many persons who were emotionally distressed, suffered from rejection, gave up on love and  whose  future was crippled by the devastating attack of the enemy upon their marriage and family.  Such emotional pain and sufferings were experienced by both men and women.   The devil has no respect of gender when attacking our hope, our families, our marriages and our lives.

Apostle Munroe notwithstanding her counsel given to assist so many persons, had to also take her own counsel after experiencing such an attack on her marriage and family.  Having done all to stand and is still standing for the sacredness of her marriage covenant, holding on for the restoration of her family, withstands the attack of the enemy and has counterattacked the demonic spirit of REJECTION.

Apostle Munroe's grandparents on her mother's side of the family were separated, parents were divorced and her husband's parent's likewise divorce.  REJECTION came against Apostle's marriage and family as a generational curse that has been conquered through her faith, by the blood of Jesus Christ and upon her complete understanding of the sacredness of the marriage covenant.

Resulting from such  an experience, Apostle Munroe hosted a conference on 2nd August, 2013 which was successful and impacted the lives of those who attended. Moving Beyond Rejection book will soon be written, published and made available for YOU.

What Are You Going To Do?

At a crossroad.  We have all been here and will find ourselves there very often.  Crossroads are those opportunities for us  to make decisions for our lives.  These decisions are not day to day decisions such as what we will wear, what we will have for lunch or what we will watch on television. These crossroads are in relation to career, marriage, family, which church to attend or which faith to follow.

Too often we become cowards and rather than making a decision to move forward, we sit back, relax and persuade ourselves that all we need to do is pray about it.  Philippians 4:6 - Be careful for nothing; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. We can do this and often times we do it.  Our challenge is not prayer, our challenge is moving or acting after we have received an answer or instructions from God.

Upon reaching the border of the Promised Land, Canaan the Israelites did not pray to God as to whether or not they should go in and possess the land. They sent twelve spies to bring a report as to how they can drive out the inhabitants and possess Canaan which was promised to them.  You've journeyed this far.... You've fasted, prayed, searched and studied the holy scriptures, but you are afraid to make a decision. The thought of you missing God or making the wrong decision have you paralyzed. How can you make the wrong decision when you have already searched the holy scriptures?  How can you make the wrong decision when you have already been spiritually convicted by the Holy Spirit as to what you must NOW do?

Our problem is not that we don't know what to do. Most of us struggle with making the decision to do what we know we must do.  We become cowards and like the Israelites we take additional laps in the wilderness because of unbelief.  We start all over again fasting, praying, studying and seeking an answer.  There is no other answer!  What are you going to do? Either you do what you know is right in spite of your fears or you die in the wilderness.  Elohim, God has no other answer for you.  You either go in and possess that which is promised to you, walk in your purpose, or you die in the wilderness because of unbelief.

Without FAITH it is impossible to please God - Hebrews 11:6; and FAITH without WORKS is dead being left alone - James 2:17.  What are you going to do?  Start all over again because you are afraid to move forward and possess your promise  What are you going to do?  You're two steps away from your spiritual purpose and you look back like Lot's wife.  What are you going to do?  You're flesh and spirit is at war, which one will you allow to win?  What are you going to do? Keep praying, fasting, and studying the holy scriptures and do nothing else but allow your seasons to pass and all your dreams to die.  What are you going to do?

Not About Me

We all struggle with taking our minds off ourselves and focusing on the needs of others.  So often what we call problems are not issues that are detrimental to us, it is just not something we are prepared to live without or not experience.  Most of the things we refer to as problems are so far from being a problem,  usually it is just something not comfortable or desired.

If we often times take our focus off ourselves and realize that what we possess is wealth to another person, we will discover that we honestly don't have problems as we have been persuading ourselves to believe.  What is your problem?  What is your discomfort?  What is it that you can say without hesitation that Elohim, God has failed to provide for or deliver you from?

When you and I come to the place whereby we realize that it is not so much about us, but rather about what we can offer, what we can do or how we can help another person, we will no longer have problems.  Our problems will cease to exist because we will be so occupied with helping others that the minute issues in our lives become irrelevant.

It is time for us to really become persons of service unto others.  This life is not extended to us for you and I to be served, complimented, assisted and blessed and everyone else go without.  It is not about me.  It is not about you either.  Life is about what you and I can do for others. Lets take our focus off of ourselves thus eliminating what we call problems and become occupied with helping  those who are in need.

Kingdom Investment

We all as Christians will agree that there is no better investment for us to make than to invest in our souls by investing in the Kingdom of God.  While this is most Christians persuasion, many of us as followers of Christ will not invest in our souls or in the Kingdom of God.

We toil and labour every week to obtain wages to meet our financial commitments, savings plan and some form of recreation.  Aside from giving God 10% of our income (tithes) we utilized our funds towards everything else but the Kingdom of God.  The 10% was not a Kingdom investment, it was rightfully God's before you submitted it.

We as Christians don't view paying  our electricity bill as an investment; it was rightfully that Company's monies for services provided. We also don't view paying  our car note, mortgage or credit card bill as an investment, we submit the funds as payment for monies loan or services provided. Realize that your tithes and offering is not Kingdom investment.

We will use a portion of our income  to  purchase DVDs and that's an investment because we're adding to our collection.  We will also use a portion of our income and treat ourselves, therefore we invest in our personal lives, and yes we do deserve it.  However, have you realized that as a Christian who claims to be a Kingdom citizen there is no investment on your part.

We as Christians do everything in our power to make our lives  in this world system comfortable for our flesh, but we so quickly ignore and refuse to invest in the Kingdom of God.  For most Christians when they read or hear an invite for them to sow a seed in a ministry, to become a partner with a ministry or to donate towards missions, or some other spiritual project, hearts are harden, ears are deafened, and pockets are on lock down.  How quickly we will invest in this world which so comfortably opposes our standard of living, and how comfortable we are as Christians to neglect that which we claim to be citizens of, the Kingdom of God.

To all our subscribers, fellow Christians and friends, please learn today that your life is lacking many of the spiritual benefits ONLY because of your lack of Kingdom investment.  When we purchase shares in a company, we are paid dividends and have benefits or a return on our shares.  You've been waiting to experience the benefits from being a citizen of the Kingdom of God and God has been waiting for you to start investing in His Kingdom.  Endeavour to sow financial seeds, partner with Ministries, support missions and stop investing in everything  that wars against your spiritual convictions and Kingdom benefits. What are you doing with your talents......?  Are you burying them in this world or investing them in the Kingdom of God for a double return?

What A Day That Will Be!

What A Day That Will Be is a very old hymn sung decades ago by our spiritual mothers and fathers and at times in our local assemblies. It refers to that great day when we shall see our Saviour face to face and how it would be  such a glorious day.   The hymn is an anticipation of what is to come spiritually  for those who held onto their blessed hope.  ...............What a glorious day that will be!

What about now?  What about the opportunities we have now for people to see the resemblance of Christ in us.  What about now?  What about you and I availing  to those persons who come along our pathway   who only  needed a friendly smile.  What about today, rather than that glorious day which is to come?  Today, you can forgive that person who offended you and that individual will be afforded the opportunity to understand why we as Christians are forgiven.  Each of us have an opportunity to make another person's day glorious. What a day that will be for him or her?  What a glorious day that will be for  us  to know  that we are  forgiven for  the hurt and pain that we have contributed towards or caused.

What a day that will be when spouses reconcile and restore their marriage.  What a glorious day that will be when neighbours and friends cleanse their hearts from jealousy, envy and backbiting and can seek forgiveness and peace among themselves.  Indeed that hymn, 'What A Day That Will Be' refers to that which is to be experienced when we see our Saviour and Lord face to face.  However I want you to focus on today, I want you to be that representative, that ambassador who  permits that hurting, lonely, sad, or distressed individual to see Christ face to face through you. Let him or her see His love, experience His forgiveness, understand grace, appreciate His kindness through you as Christ' ambassador.  What A Day That Will Be can be today for someone through you.... make someone's day glorious.

It's Time For A Change

So often we as Christians find ourselves fighting the same battle for years or struggling with the same issue for years.  Whichever it may be there are issues in our lives that appear to go over time.  Within our souls we long for a change.  We fast and pray and hope for a breakthrough and often times nothing happens notwithstanding our faith.

Indeed battles, struggles and issues are all a part of our lives whether or not we are sincere followers of Christ; no one is exempted.  The advantage however the believer has is their connection with Elohim God through Jesus Christ.  Many times we know that we know that God is able.  The question is why haven't we experienced our breakthrough, our miracle or our anticipated change.  Not until you and I and so many like ourselves have reached the point in our spiritual walk  whereby enough is simple enough, we will continue to wait, continue to pray, continue to hope and probably see no significant change.

This is the same scenario with the woman who had the issue with blood - Luke 8:43.  Maybe your issue may not be menstrual, but her condition caused her to be separated from her friends, family and dwelling place.  Her issue also rendered her as being unclean and such conditions continued for twelve years.  Did her hope change her circumstances?  Certainly not, she still had the issue with blood. Could the priest or the church help her? Certainly not, because something was also required on her part. She suffered for twelve years and no doctor was able to heal her and  after attending many physicians she was left with no money for any further medical help.

Maybe your issue might be hypertension, diabetes, or  probably your issue might be unemployment.  It might not be either of the aforementioned, your's  might  be relationship issues or low self esteem.  Whatever your struggles or problems may be, I want you know that sometimes it requires more than just quoting the holy scriptures and having faith...... you must take action.  You  must act in spite of what others say, how others  view you or better yet how you view yourself.  Until you get to the place whereby you must experience your change no matter what, you will continue to wait and to hope.  The woman with the issue of blood only heard that Jesus was in the area, she came out of her  place of restraint, she moved beyond her barriers and she acted out her faith, "If I can  only  touch the him of his garment." If only you can get beyond the battles in your mind, the negative people around you, and the stumbling blocks in your life, you know that you will experience  your change, have your breakthrough and be free.

In I've Had Enough, a teaching by Apostle Mrs. Tanya Munroe the 'woman with the issue of blood' is expounded for your simple application to whatever your challenges in life may be.  We encourage you to order today from our Media Library; this is a CD worth having in your collection.  Most certainly from time to time we will be challenged and sometimes discouraged, I've Had Enough will activate you to press beyond, rise up above and experience your needed change. We all must learn how to overcome the challenges that we face in our lives.  We must all push ourselves beyond life's limitations and reach out to God.  I've Had Enough is a motivational teaching for any individual who has had enough and is ready to excel beyond the norm, their challenges, barriers and stumbling  blocks.  We encourage you to go to our Media Library and order I've Had Enough today!

The New Life

I thought I was living the new life in Christ when I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Saviour. It was only my initiation. Not until I decided to let everything go that represented my image of myself, and tear down my self erected idol that I began to live the new life. Unless we decide to completely die unto ourselves, which is to let EVERYTHING GO, we are yet to experience kingdom living in Christ Jesus. Remember no flesh can inherit the Kingdom of God. 1 Corinthians 15:50 - "Now this I say, brethren, that flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God; neither doth corruption inherit incorruption."  Because of this, everything that represents YOU must die so that Christ lives in you and likewise you in Him - Philippians 1:21 - "For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain". This is the new life and the true meaning of being born again. How can you experience the new birth when you are yet to die unto yourself?

Don't let Satan deceive you!

Satan uses hurt, pain and misunderstandings as a tool to rob mankind of the beauty of life. Without emotional hurt, there will be no need for forgiveness and healing. Without pain, we would have no need for the Comforter and without misunderstandings we will be denied the opportunity and reasons to be humble. Everything that Satan paints as such a gigantic negative issue is nothing more than our opportunities to live our lives spiritually for the honour and glory of Elohim, God. He's a liar and never tells the true story in our minds. Honestly, Satan lied to me on several occasions but as time past I became more familiar with his schemes. How can you be hurt if you've never loved someone? If you loved someone, be proud of your pain because love is of God. How can you recognize pain in the absence of knowing the joy of being comforted? Appreciate every kind word, gesture, soft touch, thank you and words of gratitude, everything that reflects you was not completely ignored. Finally misunderstandings only manifests the things that the parties don't know about each other and provides the opportunity to improve on communication. Like I said earlier Satan is a liar. Every hurt, pain and misunderstanding is nothing more than an opportunity for us to live our lives more spiritual for the honour and glory of Elohim, God. Be encouraged.

Know What's Following You

I have heard so much about witchcraft and evil spirits over the years. I do sincerely believe in their existence and that their main purpose is to suppress, oppress and hinder the spiritual effectiveness of the body of Christ.  Sometimes I lose my focus on the God of my salvation and become distracted with the minute issues that are set on my path by demonic or evil spirits.  Indeed there is a struggle to keep our minds and eyes focused on the Most High God, Elohim.

We, like Peter while walking on the water in the direction towards the Lord Yeshua, who had asked Peter  to come unto Him, after focusing on the waves began to sink.  Witchcraft, evil or demonic spirits function like the waves that distracted Peter while on the water, they come attempting to make the saints sink with the issues of life.  We must often times remind ourselves of what is following us.  Yes, demonic spirits do exist and indeed witchcraft is effective BUT there is a promise for the sincere follower of The Christ - Psalm 23:6 -"Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever."

Let them cast their spells, speak their curses, bury personal items and post your name on an upside down cross on a shrine and also light as many candles as they can and mix their potions.... One thing that you can be certain of as a child of Elohim God is that regardless of what they do and what evil they send, goodness and mercy shall follow you all the days of your life and every tongue that arises up against you in judgement or to curse you, cast a spell upon you or to wish you misfortune;  you have the power to condemn  - Isaiah 54:17.  Let us not become overly concerned about the evil in this world and know that angels are commissioned to follow and protect us - Hebrews 1:14.     Know what's following you!

Everyone nowadays are so excited about their smart phones, iphones, tablets and ipads.  It truly feels good to have access to the news, movies, social networks and technology right in the palm of your hands.  A young adult no longer  need to purchase a television, dvd player or subscribe to directv or dish network.  Netflix will give you unlimited movies on your smart phone or ipad.  Information, games, movies, shopping, books, counseling and so much more are just  a click away.  This is so exciting for so many people, they no longer need a book shelf, books are now downloaded on their kindle, no longer need a CD rack, music is now downloaded on flash drives and mp3 players.  Life has become so simple and convenient, everything is only a click away.

Whatever information you are seeking it is online.  Children no longer read dictionaries, they Google and Bing. People no longer purchase books, they download them on their kindle, the same applies with entering a store to purchase an item. Most people are shopping online for new and used products.  If  you're looking for something used to purchase Amazon and Ebay have lots of stuff.  Vehicles are now used to go to work, the food store and for recreation, other items purchased can be delivered right to your front door, going out to shop is optional. No more huge phone bills, you can chat online for free and no need to drive a few miles to visit a friend or family member, web camera will bring them right into your living room or bedroom.   Oh! The simplicity of life.

Now here's my point, because your life has become so much simpler and information more accessible, we are all left without excuses as to why we have not lived holy lives pleasing unto God.  Just how you can download a romantic book, you could have done the same for a bible or spiritual educational book. The money spent shopping online to purchase that new jeans, new sneakers  or that cocktail dress, the same money could have been spent to purchase a new church attire.  The time you spent downloading the latest R&B or hip hop songs, you could have done the same for gospel or spiritual music. All that time you spent chatting on Facebook you could have utilized that time reading those spiritual articles posted and connecting with those persons who were interested in the salvation of your soul. Almighty God made it so much easier for you to learn of His divine will for your life.  You didn't even have to attend church, multiple churches and ministries are online offering sermons on a variety of topics to enable you to connect with Elohim God.   Truly you will be left without an excuse as to why you did not commit your life unto Christ and served Almighty God with sincerity of heart.  Remember, salvation was only a click away.

Wealth You Didn't Recognize

I was discussing with an acquaintance of mine a portion of the Lord's Prayer.  I said to her that we are wealthy beyond our recognition.  The Lord's Prayer also known as the model prayer states "Give us this day our daily bread" - Matthew 6:11.  After communicating with her I thought to myself.......'daily bread...um." Shortly thereafter I came to the realization that my wealth was not in accordance to the standards of this world's system.  The amount of digits on my bank account were irrelevant.  My wealth was not to be measured by my salary, inheritance from my parents, shares or dividends.

I am wealthy and so are many of you.  In the Lord's Prayer we are told to ask for our daily bread.  Now let me share with you what I've realized.  Whenever I  open the door of my fridge I have more than a day's portion of food - actually I have more than a week's portion of food.  When I look in my cupboards, I have more than three weeks portion of meals.   I have been provided more than my daily bread..... this is wealth.

Next in line was my closet and drawers. I had more than enough clothing to go at minimum three weeks without having to do my laundry to enable me to have something to wear.  Once again I have discovered wealth because of the quantity and variety of clothing in my possession.  I took a look around my home, the books and variety of bibles I have to read, the various perfumes I can choose from, the variety of music, movies and things that I have to constructively occupy my time.  This was another manifestation of my wealth.

What can I find to complain about ? If I want to be honest.... nothing.  What is it that I  find myself in need of?  Nothing because I have been faithfully provided more than a day's portion and further Elohim has been faithful to supply all my needs through his riches in glory by Christ Jesus -   Philippians 4:19.  I will close with this statement.... many of you reading this article have wealth you didn't recognize.

Frustrated

I am frustrated with the amount of believers dying from sickness and diseases because as Christians we are promised the abundant life in Christ Jesus and we were  told in the holy scriptures that by His stripes we were healed. The question is, "Why are Christians not experiencing divine healing and not living the abundant life?"

I am frustrated with the amount of Pastors who manipulate their followers and do their best to control their lives.  We are members of the body of Christ collectively and no member of any local assembly belong  to any particular Minister. No Pastor, Bishop, Apostle, Evangelist, Cardinal or Pope died to save the soul of any man. Our regenerated souls belong to Christ and Him only.

I am frustrated with the amount of people who comfortably say that God told them this or that or the Spirit of God revealed this or that and when it is time to execute they can't be found.  God sent them to the ministry to help. but they are never available.  The Spirit of God told them this or that and their  words can't be supported by their actions.

I am frustrated with the multitude of men who left their wives and abandoned their children to provide for another household without any sign of remorse.  I am extremely frustrated with the amount of women who degrade themselves to nothing more than a mistress to a married man, notwithstanding his children are fatherless and his wife  is forsaken...... too many defiled beds and too many broken covenants.

I am frustrated with the amount of people who find fault with the body of Christ and are clueless of the sacrifices made by  persons to fellowship together, pray and worship together and to present themselves unto Elohim in accordance to His holy standards. Too many judge the body of Christ in ignorance.

I am frustrated with this world of sin, misguided Politicians, self centered government leaders, tunnel vision spiritual leaders, and the tremendous increase in immorality and crime.  I am frustrated with this body of sin and my joy will be to take off this mortal flesh and put on immortality and forever be in the presence of my Sariour, My Lord and the Lover of my soul.  Are you frustrated?

For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.  So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in V I C T O RY - 1 Corinthians 15:53, 54.

By Sacrifice

I have discovered that some of my best dishes prepared for dinner were those meals that I honestly did not feel like cooking because I was either too tired or was not hungry.  I prepared the meals unwillingly, because I knew that my spouse or my children needed a meal before ending their day.  Surprisingly, those meals came out quite delicious.  I prepared those meals by sacrifice.  My mind was practically shut down from the cares of the day, my body physically exhausted because of work.  However  I knew that in spite of how I felt, those meals needed to be prepared.

This is the same kind of mindset we should have with our prayers, with our worship, with our praise unto Elohim.  Often times we are too tired to lift up our hands and radically praise God, but we must do so by sacrifice because we know that Elohim inhabits the praises of His people.  We should worship by sacrifice and boast on the goodness of our Supreme God in spite of our challenges and circumstances because we know that there is no greater God.  We must also possess this type of attitude and sacrificially attend the House of God for fellowship with the saints, simply because God has been faithful to give us soundness of mind and mobility of our limbs.

The same convictions that compels us to please our employers, our spouses, our friends and whomsoever  we esteem as important, must also compel us to push even harder to sacrifice to please our Saviour and Lord.  Elohim God loves sacrifices.  We no longer offer bullocks and lambs, we don't need to physically die on a cross but we must continuously offer ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable which is God's good and perfect and acceptable will for our lives and relationship with Him - Romans 12:1.  It must be by sacrifice....What have you given up for God that can be esteemed as a sacrifice to demonstrate how much you appreciate Elohim's faithfulness towards you?  Does your God deserve a greater sacrifice from you than that which you have given up for man?  It must be by sacrifice - "And the king said unto Araunah, nay; but I will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my God of that which doth cost me nothing......" 2 Samuel 24:24.
